OBJECTIVE:
- Provide information on current views of various NON-DOPING methods of body weight gain in sports practice, fitness and health medicine.
- Make an optimal choice of a specific body weight gain program / method.
- Form an understanding on practical implementation of such programs (content and duration of some programs, stages of implementation, body control, efficiency assessment, duration prediction of the achieved efficiency).
- Characterization of safety criteria of the recommended tools and methods.
YOU WILL LEARN:
- Body weight and mass are interrelated parameters, but they are not equivalent.
- Types of body weight gain/ stabilization programs.
- Principles of rational nutrition within the body weight gain programs.
- Products used in the programs to increase the body weight
(characteristics, comparative assessment of efficacy, selection criteria).
- Action modes and types of workloads in the body weight gain programs.
- Methods of body control when such programs are implemented.
